Twitter、UserStreamの終了日を報告、本気でサードパーティアプリを殺しにきたようだ。

6月19日で終了と言われていたUserStreamですが
どうやら公式な終了は　8月15日となり
その後は新API「Account Activity API」を8月16日から提供することを発表したようです。

結局のところ、Userおよび開発者と仲良くするつもりはなく
Tweetdeckを優遇するのみの処置となる。

新APIは利用者数に応じた月額課金となるようで
多くの小規模アプリ開発者には、とても負担の多い金額で設定されています。

これはもしやWEBスクレイピングの復権となるのではないでしょうか。
